Beach Grass Project
This project is based in the Lido Elementary School Library
Beach Grass (Dune Grass) provides protection for our beaches against erosion and provides a safe place for animals to nest and shelter.
The Fourth Graders at Lido began a research project to see if we can grow beach grass. Beach grass is known for its long root system that anchors it to the sand. Though our plexiglass stand we hope to watch these roots grow
